Troubleshooting

I lost access to my Aya wallet — what do I do?

Use your recovery phrase to restore your wallet. Follow the recovery instructions in the app.

My transaction is taking too long to confirm — what now?

Check network congestion and the TXID on a blockchain explorer. If it’s unconfirmed for a long time, you may consider re-broadcasting or increasing the fee if the wallet and network allow it.

Why can’t I send a transaction?

Ensure you have enough tokens and gas fees, the recipient address is correct, and your internet connection is stable. Try restarting the app if problems persist.

My wallet balance looks incorrect — what should I do?

Refresh the wallet. If the issue continues, verify the balance on a blockchain explorer and contact support if needed.

Restoring & Backups

How do I restore my wallet from a backup?

Select Restore Wallet during setup and enter your recovery phrase. Follow prompts to complete restoration.

Imported Wallets — Missing Accounts

If you import your Aya recovery phrase into another wallet and some accounts don’t appear, this is usually because:

  • Additional accounts had no on-chain activity and therefore aren’t auto-discovered by the other wallet.
  • The other wallet uses a different derivation path and doesn’t scan the accounts Aya created.

You can manually add accounts in the other wallet if it supports custom derivation paths, or continue using Aya to manage those accounts. Your funds remain safe as long as you retain the recovery phrase.
